Following these adorable twin girls around after a family photoshoot led to a little adventure on a country road. It's so fun watching siblings interact and follow each other so I let them lead the way. The air was crisp and the fall foliage was long gone but we stumbled upon a sunny hill with tall dried grass which made for a warm golden backdrop.

Family Session: Kai's 1st Birthday - Leesburg, VA
I had a lot of fun photographing the Gibson family and I loved all their smiles! Kai was so adorable and so fun to watch him destroy his birthday cake! I love the charm of the old buildings and the simplicity of the grassy meadow that was captured in this session.

Family Session: Precious Moments - Leesburg, VA
Once again, this little sweetheart turned on the charm and smiled for the camera! She is such a delight to photograph and I love seeing the joy she brings her parents. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to capture these precious moments.

A Gorgeous August Morning
This Virginia summer has been so pleasant, that I've been spending many mornings outside with Chase as he checks on the flowers, rearranges the rocks and runs around with the dogs. I decided to take advantage of the nice cool breeze, golden sunrise and minimal bugs and capture a few shots of Chase before he ran off. This kid is growing quickly and getting faster every day!

Child Photography Session: Hot Air Balloon - Leesburg, VA
What a wonderful day it was for a hot air balloon ride! Well, Chase's "hot" air balloon didn't really make it off the ground, but he still had fun! He was such a trooper, keeping his aviator cap on the whole time and showing off his giggly smile. Surprisingly, he pretty much left the balloon alone and I was able to get some great shots of him.
