Seeking Adventure...A boy and his sailboat
Whether it's big or small, imaginary or real...adventure is always
thrilling. I love this series of pictures of my son in the sailboat. I
could imagine him sailing the seas and looking for land or other ships
ahead. His imagination is growing more and more each day and I just
love listening to him while he's hard at play. At one point he tipped
the boat over and had even more fun giggling and hiding under the
capsized sailboat!

Newborn Photos: My Baby Girl
Three months ago we welcomed Camille into our family. We couldn't be more in love with this sweet baby girl. Chase is such a great big brother and he always wants to give her hugs and kisses. I wanted to share the newborn pictures I took of her and like usual, I took more photos than needed. But those first few days are so precious and it hit me harder this time around that she was going to grow so fast. So I clicked away. I just can't get enough of her sweet little face and the moments I get to hold her as she peacefully sleeps.

Family Photos - Leesburg, VA
I chuckle to myself in disbelief as I write this because I have wanted to post these pictures for almost a year now. The new year starts every January, but I feel like my new year has just begun. I took these pictures last fall right when we found out I was expecting our second child. Soon after, my morning sickness set in and didn't go away until our baby girl arrived. It was a rough 9 months of feeling exhausted and sick and I was sad that it caused me to loose a bit of my passion for taking pictures. I just couldn't keep up with an energetic toddler, the demands of pregnancy and posting photos I finally did get around to taking. Now it's a year later and I figure it's better late than never and I want to share these pictures. I really love these pictures but now I am looking forward to taking new family pictures as a family of four.
